Day one in Woltersdorf: wet, technical, and a crowd to match

Woltersdorf, Germany — Day one of the final round of the 2026 European Enduro Championship is done, and the Extreme Test set the tone. Cold, wet ground made every line a decision, and on a technical special like that, one small mistake was enough to be crucial — costing positions that were hard to win back over the rest of the lap.

The course was built with spectators in mind, with specials positioned to pull the crowd in close — and it worked. Despite the conditions, plenty of people turned out along the track to watch the action up close.

At the front, Jeremy Sydow (Triumph, E1) set the pace on home soil, with Luca Fischeder — last time out the winner in Spain — right behind in second. Roland Liszka, whose round 3 ended in retirement after a broken chain while leading, is back on the podium pace in third overall.
